Vegan Cajun Pasta

This pasta sauce is so easy to make, and it's perfect for when I'm craving something creamy and spicy!

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups small pasta
  • 2 1/2 cups plant milk plain, unsweetened
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup nutritional yeast
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • optional: vegan grilled chicken

Instructions
 

  • Cook the pasta and the vegan grilled chicken (if desired) according to the package instructions.
  • Combine all of the remaining ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Lower heat and stir constantly for about 5 minutes or until completely combined and at your desired consistency. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
  • Combine the cooked pasta, vegan grilled chicken pieces, and sauce in the pasta stockpot. Enjoy!
