These onion rings are crispy, flavorful, and so easy to make! Plus, onion rings aren't normally the healthy choice, but these are baked, not fried, and completely oil free!

- 3 small yellow onion
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2/3 cup plant milk plain, unsweetened
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cup breadcrumbs vegan
Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F/220 degrees C. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Slice the end off of each onion, then peel off the top layer. Slice each onion into 1/4-1/2" portions, or however thick you want your onion rings to be.
I like to use two layers of the onion in one ring. Remove 2 layers of each slice to get a hollow ring, then two more for a smaller onion ring, repeating until you're at the center.
In one bowl, mix together the milk, flour, and spices. Split the breadcrumbs evenly into two other bowls.
Dip each onion ring into the wet mixture, then one bowl of breadcrumbs, then place on the baking sheet. When the breadcrumbs get too sticky/wet, use the other bowl.
Bake for 20 minutes, flip, and bake another 15 minutes or until done to your liking.
Serve with your favorite dips. Enjoy & share!
