Simple Vegan Focaccia
This focaccia bread is fluffy with just the right amount of crunch, and it has a subtle yet delicious flavor. Dip in some olive oil and enjoy!

- 2 tbsp vegan butter
- 5 tbsp olive oil divided
- 3 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 1/4 tsp instant yeast
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 2/3 cup warm water
- sea salt & fresh rosemary for topping
Grease a 9x13 baking dish with the vegan butter, then drizzle a tbsp of olive oil over the butter.
In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
Add the warm water and 2 tbsp olive oil, and gently combine until a dough forms.
Pour the dough into the baking dish. Do not try to spread it out, let it stay where it lands. Cover and let rise for one hour.
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F/220 degrees C.
Dip your fingers in olive oil. Spread the dough to fill the baking dish, then gently press into it to make holes everywhere without pushing through.
Drizzle 2 tbsp of olive oil over the dough, then top with sea salt and fresh rosemary.
Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
Cut into squares, dip in olive oil or a garlic dip, enjoy & share!
