"Honey" Pepper Sauce
This is my copycat version of the Applebee's honey pepper sauce! Just measure, combine, heat, and enjoy!

- 3/4 cup maple syrup or agave
- 1/3 cup low sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar packed
- 1/4 cup pineapple juice
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan.
Bring it to a boil, reduce to a simmer and cook uncovered for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Turn off heat and let cool for 5 minutes.
Serve over tofu or vegan chicken. Enjoy & share!
