"Honey" Pepper Sauce

This is my copycat version of the Applebee's honey pepper sauce! Just measure, combine, heat, and enjoy!

Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 cup maple syrup or agave
  • 1/3 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan.
  • Bring it to a boil, reduce to a simmer and cook uncovered for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Turn off heat and let cool for 5 minutes.
  • Serve over tofu or vegan chicken. Enjoy & share!
