Greek Style Braised Green Beans
This is one of my favorite shareable appetizers! It's so easy to make and always comes out delicious!

- 1 lb green beans
- 28 oz diced tomatoes (canned)
- 1 medium onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tbsp oregano
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
Chop the ends off the green beans, then cut them into bite-sized pieces. Mince the onion and garlic.
Heat the olive oil in a large saute pan. Add the onion and cook for 4-5 minutes or until translucent and fragrant. Add the garlic and cook for another minute.
Add all of the remaining ingredients and stir to combine. Cover and cook for 50-60 minutes or until the green beans are soft and done to your liking, stirring occasionally.
Top with vegan feta cheese and serve with crusty bread. Enjoy & share!
