Cookie Dough Protein Treats

These protein treats are perfect to have with my morning smoothies or as an afternoon energy boost!

Ingredients
  

  • 15 oz chickpeas canned, drained, and rinsed
  • 1/2 cup creamy nut butter
  • 2 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup vanilla vegan protein powder
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup vegan mini chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Add the chickpeas, nut butter, maple syrup, protein powder, and cinnamon to a mixing bowl and stir to gently combine.
  • Using a potato masher or your hands, mash and mix the ingredients together as best as you can.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Roll into balls and refrigerate for at least one hour, preferably overnight.
  • Serve for breakfast or a healthy snack. Enjoy & share!
