BBQ Chickpea Wrap
This is one of my favorite recipes - the wraps are so flavorful, high protein, simple to make, and the ingredients are all easily accessible (and so cheap)!

- 2 burrito tortillas
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 15 oz chickpeas drained and rinsed
- 1/3 cup bbq sauce
- 1/3 cup hummus
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tbsp water
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- toppings: lettuce, tomato, red onion
In a large saucepan, heat the olive oil and saute the chickpeas until golden brown, about 5 minutes on low-medium heat.
Add the barbecue sauce, combine and heat for another 2 minutes.
In a small bowl, whisk together the hummus, lemon juice, water, and garlic powder.
Slice or dice your tomato and onion. I like to saute the red onion, but this is optional.
Build your wraps! Add the chickpeas, lettuce, tomato, onion, and the hummus dressing. Enjoy & share!
