Garlic, garlic, and more garlic, please!
I could eat pasta every single day and never get tired of it, so I’m always on the hunt for new sauces and ways to switch it up. This is one of my favorites! Garlic is the star of the show in this pasta dish, and it’s a great way to venture off the tomato-based path and try something different without it being a hassle. This recipe only takes about 20 minutes to make, and I always have the ingredients on hand!
Ingredients:
- 12 oz long pasta
- 1/4 cup minced garlic
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup plain, unsweetened plant milk
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp hoisin sauce
- green onions
Method:
- Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the box.
- In a small saucepan, heat the olive oil. Add the garlic and saute for 1-2 minutes.
- Add all of the remaining ingredients (minus the green onions), and stir to combine. Cook for 4-5 minutes. Taste and adjust flavors as needed.
- Add to the cooked noodles and toss to combine. Add the green onions and toss again.
- Serve with chili flakes and/or more green onion. Enjoy & share!
