I don’t use the word “masterpiece” very often, but this dip is a masterpiece!

Everybody needs a dip recipe they can throw together before a get-together and hear these words from everyone who tries it – “Can you send me that recipe?” This is that dip! Of course, anything vegan-cream-cheese-based will be a home run, but this dip has it all. It’s spicy, cheesy, and creamy, and the flavors of garlic and spinach are complemented perfectly. Plus, if you’re able to use a sourdough bread bowl, you might just eat the whole thing yourself!
Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 jalapeño
- 8 oz spinach
- 1/4 cup vegan mayo
- 8 oz vegan cream cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 3/4 cup grated vegan parmesan
- salt & pepper, to taste
- 1 sourdough bread bowl

Notes:
- Tofutti cream cheese is my favorite, but use whatever you’d like! I also used Violife parmesan cheese and Follow Your Heart mayonnaise.
- You can use fresh spinach, or if you have a frozen bag of chopped spinach, that will work as long as you thaw and drain it before use.
- If you are not using a bread bowl, use a small baking sheet to warm up the dip.
Method:
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F/180 degrees C.
- Mince the garlic and jalapeño. Roughly chop the spinach.
- Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the garlic and jalapeño and sauté for 4-5 minutes.
- Add the spinach, mayo, grated parmesan, cream cheese, and garlic powder. Stir until combined, taste, and add salt and pepper as needed.

- Cut a hole in the bread bowl. Add the dip to the bread bowl, place on a baking sheet & bake for 10 minutes.
- While baking, cut the bread taken from the bread bowl into bite-sized pieces for dipping.
- That’s it! Enjoy & share.
