Vegan Mug Pizza

Single serve pizza has never been so accessible! This delicious pizza fits in a mug and takes less than 10 minutes to make.

Pizza is one thing I know a lot of people don’t want to live without, even those who don’t want to consume dairy. Thankfully, pizza dough is vegan 95% of the time, and there are almost too many brands of vegan mozzarella cheese to choose from! Now I’m craving pizza just as often as I used to, and this is a fantastic way to satisfy those cravings without spending money on take-out or having leftovers for days! Working from home, it’s really a lunchtime game changer, and it’s great for a stop home on the weekends between errands.

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp oregano
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 tbsp olive oil
  • pizza sauce
  • vegan mozzarella cheese

Method:

  • In a small bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, garlic, and oregano.
  • Add the water and olive oil, stir to combine. Transfer dough to your mug.
  • Microwave for 30-45 seconds or until the top no longer looks wet.
  • Top with pizza sauce, vegan mozzarella (today I used Trader Joe’s brand cashew milk mozz shreds), more oregano, and any other toppings you want. Microwave for another 45 seconds or until the dough is cooked through, watching to make sure it doesn’t overflow (depending on the size of your mug).
