Vegan Mug Brownie

The struggle of craving a brownie but not wanting an entire pan tempting you for days is GONE! This brownie recipe is vegan, delicious, and fits in your favorite cozy mug.

My life changed forever when I discovered the brownie-in-a-mug concept. I can have a brownie without using the oven? And I won’t have a whole pan calling my name for a week? Sign me up! This recipe only has seven ingredients and takes less than 10 minutes to make.

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup water
  • chocolate chips

Method:

  • Add all of the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder & cocoa powder) and whisk to combine.
  • Add the water, peanut butter, and maple syrup. Whisk again until combined.
  • Next, pour it into your mug! I like to pour about half, add some chocolate chips, and add the rest of the mixture. This is optional & delicious!
  • Top with some chocolate chips.
  • Microwave your mug brownie for 90 seconds. Check the texture and add more time if needed. Unpopular opinion – I add another 30 seconds because I like my brownies more cakey! Enjoy 🙂
