Give your salads the boost they need with these croutons!
I have never been a fan of simple salads. If I’m eating a salad, I want it to be LOADED! I need plenty of flavors, crunch, and protein, and I want to feel full when I’m done. It’s still technically a salad if the base is lettuce… right?
These croutons are perfectly crunchy and add just the right amount of flavor to every salad. Plus, they’re effortless to make.
Ingredients:
- 3 slices sourdough bread
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F/190 degrees C.
- Slice bread into 1/2″ cubes.
- Add the bread, olive oil, oregano, salt, and pepper to a large bowl & toss to coat the bread.
- Lay in a simple layer on a baking sheet.
- Bake 13-16 minutes, until golden brown or done to your liking. Enjoy!
Homemade Croutons
