Healthy dessert for breakfast? Yes, please!
Although I can easily enjoy a savory breakfast, I have always had a morning sweet tooth! Another thing about my mornings – I HATE rushing around! I want to take my sweet time waking up and enjoy my day for a bit before I get to work. My favorite way to free up some morning time is to make breakfast the night before. This is one of my favorite overnight recipes – I always use the largest jar I have so I’ll have breakfast for days!
I used a pasta sauce jar, but if your jar is smaller, you may need to half the recipe.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cup plant milk
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 1/2 tbsp vegan vanilla protein powder
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 2 tbsp peanut butter
- chocolate chips
Method:
- Add everything to the jar & top it with chocolate chips.
- Mix & stir it up until combined, let it sit in the fridge for about 20 minutes, and shake it up again.
- Refrigerate overnight & enjoy! That’s it – quick, simple, delicious & stress free.
Cookie Dough Overnight Oats
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup plant milk
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 1/2 tbsp vegan vanilla protein powder
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 2 tbsp peanut butter
- vegan chocolate chips
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients to a jar, top with chocolate chips.
- Mix & shake until combined.
- Refrigerate for about 20 minutes, then shake it up again.
- Refrigerate overnight & enjoy!
