These chips are the BEST for satisfying my crunchy, salty, cheesy snack cravings!
I have been seeing these everywhere recently, and I thought it was a GENIUS idea! When I make pasta, I usually only use 1/2 or 3/4 of the box, and then I’m left with multiple open boxes of pasta taking up too much space in my pantry. Instead of trying to combine them and hoping they cook well together, I will now just make a small batch of pasta chips! I tried it for the first time yesterday, and WOW! I could sit and eat way too many of these in one sitting, just like a box of Cheez-Its! Plus, they’re so easy to make in my trusty air fryer.
Ingredients:
- 8 oz small pasta of choice
- 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
- 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
Method:
- Cook the pasta according to the al dente instructions on the box. Be careful not to overcook!
- Drain the pasta and add it to a mixing bowl. Add all of the remaining ingredients and toss until well combined.
- Lay the pasta out on your air fryer tray (or add 1/2 to the basket at a time). Air fry at 365 degrees F/185 degrees C for 10-12 minutes or until crispy and browned. Shake the basket/tray two or three times while cooking.
- Enjoy & share!
