This is a simple, delicious addition to any holiday meal!
The holidays are getting easier and easier for vegans – Aldi has vegan turkey, Costco has vegan apple pie, mashed potatoes can easily be made with vegan milk and butter. I don’t know if it’s just me, but as of Christmas 2021, I can’t find vegan gravy anywhere! This recipe is the perfect solution, and it only takes 10 minutes and 5 ingredients to make.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 tablespoon dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup flour
Method:
- Add all of the ingredients to a medium stockpot and heat over medium-high heat. Whisk until the gravy thickens, which should only take about 2-3 minutes.
- That’s it! Serve with mashed potatoes, vegan turkey, Swedish meatballs, etc.
Simple Vegan Gravy
Ingredients
- 2 cups low sodium vegetable stock
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 3 tsp low sodium soy sauce
- 1/2 tbsp dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients to a medium stockpot and heat over medium-high heat.
- Whisk for about 2-3 minutes or until the gravy thickens.
- Enjoy & share!
